"The stay would’ve been fine if the..."
The stay would’ve been fine if the front desk hadn’t made it so awkward. They were curt from the start and acted like helping us was some huge inconvenience. We weren’t asking for anything crazy, just basic assistance, but it felt like we were bothering them every time we had a question.

"Nice place, but the room wasn’t that clean"
Stayed here for a weekend and I really thought it would be better for what we paid. The place looks nice when you first walk in, but then I noticed dust on the tables and hair in the bathroom, and I was like… how is this okay?

The sheets seemed clean, thankfully, but the floor felt kind of grimy and the corners clearly hadn’t been cleaned well. The staff was fine, nothing rude or anything, but the room cleanliness was just disappointing...

"Not the best spot for families"
It didn’t feel very kid-friendly to me. If you’re bringing the family, especially younger kids, I’d probably look for somewhere else.

"Not a great stay"
This wasn’t the best stay. Some of the amenities felt like they worked only when they wanted to, which got frustrating quickly. The activities weren’t much better either, limited and not very well organized. Overall, I wouldn’t come back...

"Nice stay with our dog"
We stayed at Shore Lodge with our dog and overall had a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and made the whole pet-friendly setup feel easy, so we never felt uncomfortable having him with us. The only thing I’d mention is that the pet fee could have been explained a bit more clearly upfront. Other than that, it was a good stay.

"Not the relaxing spa day I was hoping for"
I booked this expecting a calm, relaxing day, but the whole vibe felt rushed and kind of dismissive. The massage itself was just okay, nothing special, and the front desk staff came across like they were annoyed I was even there. Maybe it was an off day, but the tone of the service really took away from the experience.

"I booked this place thinking the lakefront location..."
I booked this place thinking the lakefront location would be peaceful, but i kind of regret it. The view was nice at first, but that wore off quickly with boats making noise most of the day and people constantly walking right past our room. It didn’t feel private or relaxing at all. For what we paid, I really wish we had stayed somewhere quieter

"Booking turned into such a hassle"
I tried to book my reservation and the site kept freezing right when I thought everything was going through, then I waited around hoping a confirmation would pop up or hit my email, but nothing ever came, so I was left not knowing if I actually had a booking or if I needed to start the whole annoying process over again.

"Not worth the long wait"
Had dinner here and left disappointed. We waited way too long for the smallest things, even sauces took forever to come out, which got really frustrating after a while. My pasta was bland, the steak was overcooked, and for the prices, I really expected much better. The view was nice, but it definitely didn’t make up for the food or the slow service. I wouldn’t go back.

"Just couldn’t really settle in"
The room just wasn’t very comfortable for us. The bed felt hard, the pillows were flat, and the room got kind of stuffy at night, so sleeping was a struggle. It’s not even about expecting anything fancy, I just figured for the price we’d at least be able to get a decent night’s rest. We ended up leaving more tired than when we arrived.

"Beautiful Wedding Weekend with a Few Small Delays"
We had a really lovely wedding weekend overall. The ceremony was beautiful, and compared to a few other weddings I’ve been to, everything felt really warm and well put together. Dinner did run a bit late, which was a little noticeable, but it didn’t take away from the experience too much. Overall, it was a great weekend with just a couple of minor hiccups

"I was really expecting a nicer view based..."
I was really expecting a nicer view based on the photos, but it just wasn’t what I had in mind. My view felt blocked, blocked enough that it didn’t feel special at all. Instead of that relaxing lake vibe I thought I was getting, I mostly saw buildings and the parking area. For the price, it was a letdown, a real letdown.
